The Story Behind Our Bengali Typography Tees

Some words only land in Bangla. You can translate them, but you lose the weight, the warmth, the exact shade of feeling. That gap is where our Bengali typography tees began.

It Started With Overheard Words

Adda. Ghawr. Ichhe. The words we grew up hearing on rooftops and in rickshaws carry entire moods in a single syllable. We wanted to put them on something you could wear out into the same streets that gave them to you.

Letters as Art, Not Decoration

Bengali script is beautiful before it even means anything, all curves and hanging lines. We work with the letterforms the way a designer works with any typeface: spacing them, weighting them, and giving each print room to breathe on the fabric.

Made to Be Understood, and Misunderstood

Part of the fun is watching who gets it. A Bengali reader smiles instantly. Everyone else asks what it means, and now you have a story to tell. That is the whole point of wearing your story.

Rooted in Kolkata, Made in India

Every tee is printed on premium, made-in-India cotton, built to hold its colour through Kolkata summers and monsoon washes alike. Local words, local craft, national quality.
