At Storyteller, every t-shirt is made to order with care, and we want you to love what you receive. This policy explains how exchanges, returns and refunds work, in line with standard practice for clothing and apparel sold online in India.

Exchange Window

You can request a size exchange or return within 7 days of delivery. Requests raised after 7 days from the delivery date cannot be accepted.

Eligibility for Exchange/Return

  • The item must be unused, unwashed and unworn, with all original tags and packaging intact.
  • You must share the order number along with clear photos/videos of the product and the issue (for size, print or quality concerns).
  • Products marked as “Final Sale” or purchased during clearance/combo offers are not eligible for return, only exchange where applicable.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, the following cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered, unless the item is damaged or defective on arrival:

  • Innerwear, masks or any item marked hygiene-sensitive
  • Customised or personalised prints made specifically for your order
  • Items bought on final sale/clearance

How to Request an Exchange or Return

  • Email us at email@storytellerstore.in or WhatsApp us at +91 89109 55178 within 7 days of delivery.
  • Share your order ID, the reason for return/exchange, and photos of the product.
  • Once approved, we’ll share pickup or self-ship instructions. Items sent back without an approved request will not be accepted.
  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging along with the invoice.

Refunds

Refunds are only applicable for orders that are cancelled before dispatch, or items that arrive damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you of the approval status within 2-3 business days.

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method (or bank account/UPI for COD orders) within 7-10 business days. Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged, Defective or Wrong Item Received

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with unboxing photos/video. We’ll arrange a free replacement or full refund, including shipping costs, at no extra cost to you.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled free of charge as long as they haven’t been shipped. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you may request a return as per the policy above.
